Andreea Lachsz
Andreea Lachsz has worked at Aboriginal legal services in the Northern Territory, Victoria, NSW and the ACT in policy and law reform, advocacy, media/communications, community legal education and as a criminal defence lawyer. She has experience in detention monitoring in prisons, youth prisons and immigration detention. Andreea is a PhD candidate, focusing on the human rights of detained Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people. She has a particular interest and expertise in the UN Optional Protocol to the Convention against Torture.
