Alex Cuthbertson
Alex is an experienced legal executive and ethics and compliance leader.
Alex has more than 25 years’ experience working in top tier law firms in Australia and the UK and as the global ethics & compliance leader in an ASX50 company. More recently, Alex established her own consultancy business, Phronesis Legal & Advisory, primarily working with ‘for purpose’ organisations with a focus on supporting good decision-making and effective risk management processes. She is currently the General Counsel at the Treaty Authority, the independent body overseeing Treaty negotiations in Victoria.
Alex has extensive experience managing regulatory compliance issues and related litigation. Through this experience Alex understands the importance of all organisations having a strong culture supported by appropriate policies, controls and training.
Alex is a practising lawyer. She is also a graduate of the AICD Company Directors Course.
Alex lives and work in Naarm (Melbourne), Australia.
