On Choice

Ronin Cruise, based in Queensland, has spent a significant portion of his life in prison. He wrote a book during his recent time called Pri-Zen, and considers writing and sharing his story a key driver in staying clean and out of prison.

The greatest power we have is our choice, our ability to make decisions.

In any given moment it is our choice to react or respond to our experience.

It is our choice in which way we choose to respond to any given situation.

We can choose to see the positive, to see that everything is working in our favour no matter how seemingly negative, or we can choose to see things in a way that we perceive to be negative.

This choice completely alters the reality we experience.

Ultimately we create our reality, our experience of life by what we decide, what we choose to let in.

We choose our thoughts, we choose the content we consume, the company we keep, everything. From the tiny subconscious things to the bigger more impactful decisions.

We have the power to choose, and it’s only when you understand that it’s all up to you, do you realise that you can truly decide your preferred experience in any given moment and the massive potential of that.

We always always have the choice, there are always many many options to choose from but it’s the act of deciding, it’s a step forward backed by power and strength.

It allows massive momentum to flow through. One of the biggest blocks for yourself is to not decide on something, it keeps you in limbo and away from progressing in your growth.

When I speak of choice and decision I mean in every aspect.

I choose to go here or there.

I choose to think of this in a positive way.

I choose to experience abundance.

I choose for these toxic substances to do my body no harm.

I choose to be given the perfect opportunity.

There is great power behind the decision. It’s an act of complete control of yourself.

Making a decision is on par with willing something to happen when you will yourself to push on … it’s will power.

I will -power.

And when you say I will, you are making a decision, you are creating something, an experience or a reality where anything you will to be possible is.

Staying Out of Politics and Working on Myself

By Dylan

I’m only 23 years old but I feel like I’m 43. Being in prison definitely preserves your body but makes your mind and soul feel so much older if you know what I mean.

How Do You Cope With Lockdowns?
