Window Pane

By

Kelly

Kelly writes from a prison in NSW.

Window Pane is a reflection of childhood memories, looking outside of my bedroom, locked away. Same feeling I felt looking outside my window from my cell. It’s also the Eminem lyric: “I guess that’s why they call it window pain” – looking out of window panes and the sadness that leads to inner pain. That’s how it resonates for me anyhow.
