What keeps me going
What is it
It’s seeing my Mob
On a one hour visit
Givin’ my mum a hug
Even for just a second
That’s worth a lot
Worth the world I reckon
Seeing their face
When they see mine
Like being in the Matrix
Or slo-mo time
I’ve taken their love
And life for granted
I bottled up a lot
The bottles decanted
These words were formed
From pen to paper
It’s almost a year
But I’ll see you later
What keeps me going
What is it
It’s seeing my Mob
On a one hour visit
Givin’ my mum a hug
Even for just a second
That’s worth a lot
Worth the world I reckon
Seeing their face
When they see mine
Like being in the Matrix
Or slo-mo time
I’ve taken their love
And life for granted
I bottled up a lot
The bottles decanted
These words were formed
From pen to paper
It’s almost a year
But I’ll see you later
