Brain tumour, brain tumour, a darkness you can’t see
Oh how I hate you, you took my brother away from me
We watch him fade as you dig your heels in
He’d beaten you once before, we never thought that you would win
You took away who he was one day at a time
His body became his jail cell but he didn’t do a crime
When the end came we were glad he was free
Free from all the pain you caused, from your captivity
Now he soars on angel wings, smiling at us from above
Even though he has gone, every day I still feel my brother’s love
I miss him dearly and think of him every day
Memories are all that’s left now, brain tumour you can’t take that away
Brain tumour, a disease that isn’t talked about
Brains are important, there isn’t any doubt
So if my brother’s story can save just even one
His life would not be forgotten and the tumour never won

The pain that I feel, this place that I’m in, these four walls closing in…
As this time comes to an end, I wonder which way the next will bend. The earth and moon will do their thing, I’ll embrace everything.
To all the prisoners who have ever spent time away from the ones they love.
